Meet Gratty’tude

Stamping Bella and Christy Croll have come out with a really cute, clever line of stamps such as this one, “Gratty’tude”. Others include “Addy’tude”, “Aptee’tude”, “Solly’tude”, etc. I thought this one was completely adorable so it was my first purchase of the bunch.

This was my first attempt at drawing some grass for her to stand on. Turned out OK but there’s still some practice to be had. I also chalked the rest of the background in blue. The sentiment that came with the stamp is heat embossed and the heart was punched twice with my fiskars punch and popped up with a pop-dot in between. And there’s nothing like sparkle to cover up mistakes!

Feels like Monday today because of that odd, mid-week holiday. It was hard to get out of bed today. But it sure won’t be hard to get to bed tonight! As long as those free helicopter rides don’t wake me up at 2am for the third night in a row.

you did a good job on that one!
You’re right; that stamp is adorable! And I think you did a good
job on the grass as well…you didn’t put too much but just enough for her to seem
to be standing on a little cloud of grass ๐Ÿ˜‰
Did they gave you tricks to draw grass?
Anyway, thats a very pretty card! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks so much Nadia! I looked at another card by somebody else who draws her grass really well and tried to do the same thing. Not bad for a first attempt. Thanks so much for coming back to look at my cards. Have a great weekend!

Free helicopter rides are the best kind. The ONLY kind. Though that must be why they’re giving them out at all hours.
